The Dax Foundation offers assistance to committed individuals and/or groups that support the Foundation's Mission. The Foundation partners with innovative leaders with creative solutions that can help relieve suffering and improve the lives of people and animals around the world.
The Foundation's program goals include:- Listening carefully to fully understand the needs, challenges and opportunities in any given program area;
- Identifying the best ideas that can benefit the largest number of people and animals;
- Finding the most capable leaders that demonstrate a complete commitment to their cause;
- Serving as active program participants and not just a source of passive funding with minimal or no involvement;
- Supporting initiatives over the long-term to ensure their enduring success and sustainability;
- Facilitating introductions and connections to help foster synergistic collaborations among program leaders, funders, stakeholders and program recipients in order to maximize results.
The Foundation does not limit its focus and is open to programs that can significantly benefit people and/or animals in need. The Foundation has provided assistance in a range of areas including those that help:
