Some Facts (Feral Cats):

• Estimates are that there are as many as 60 to 100 million homeless stray cats roaming free in the U.S.

• Whether stray (abandoned or lost) or feral (descendants of strays living in the wild), these nonnative
predators often lead short, miserable lives, and can wreak havoc on populations of birds and other wildlife already under siege from many other threats.
