About the DAX Foundation

Who we are

The DAX Foundation is an open project set up by Jason Jeyanandan. DAX is “preservation and expansion of life, humanity, and consciousness.” Everything published here comes from Jason working through his cognitive companion as one unit. The Foundation is not incorporated.

What lives here

Meta DAX is our initiative of universal learning: every human being, any subject, any domain, free, forever. The initiative and the library.

The Constraint Protocol is a public working draft, v0.5, run in full once: on 4 May 2026. Meta DAX is meant to run on it; its protocol fields are reserved and empty today. How it stands and the specification on GitHub.

The research is a small body of what has run and what is planned: experiments and findings and the writing.

Meta DAX has two seats. Whoever is a step ahead, right now, on this, is the guide; everyone is a learner. “The same lesson, any skin, built for one person.” The definitions say what we mean by each term.

How it is built and paid for

The recipe — prompts, templates, tools — is open at github.com/daxfoundation/metadax under open licences (LICENSES.md). The system that builds this is Jason’s and is called Skippy. The public record of what it publishes is at github.com/ObsidianDelta/published. Everything is written with AI and read by a person before it goes live.

Meta DAX is free and built on paid compute. Support goes to Jason directly through Ko-fi or GitHub Sponsors; the Foundation takes none of it. Obsidian Delta is the company that builds on the open infrastructure, does done-for-you work, and operates under the DAX constraint.
